Hello! My name is Michelle de las Alas. I am an experienced elementary school teacher with over 20 years experience in the classroom, where I’ve had the privilege of teaching students from kindergarten through grade 5 as a homeroom teacher. As a certified Reading Specialist, I bring both expertise and passion to helping children grow into confident, lifelong learners.

My teaching style balances structure with warmth—I believe kids thrive in an environment that is organized, engaging and nurturing. Beyond academics, I also focus on guiding children to be kind, empathetic, and responsible citizens, weaving these values into everything I do.

We offer one-on-one tutoring, co-learning, math support and kids art workshops that not only helps with academics but also builds confidence, independence, and a love of learning.

We offer programming that helps students improve their reading and writing skills, gain confidence in math, and explore their creativity through art. I  provide one-on-one assessments and create personalized plans that meet each child exactly where they are. This ensures they get the focused support they need to grow as confident learners. Our goal is to make learning both effective and enjoyable. We believe that with the right guidance, encouragement, and community, every child can reach their full potential.
